We have several TA positions in our Physics Department for the 2nd semester of 2006-2007. The deadline is September 15, 2006. But late applications will be taken into account based on the students' qualifications.
How to apply:
1) Complete the Graduate Studies Admission's Form
* Application Form Go to https://uprm.myuniversityapp.net/apply/authentication.do?cmd=login-check and sign up to apply to graduate school. Then you will get username and password for login.
Or go to http://grad.uprm.edu/soliadmi.htm and then click ESTUDIANTE REGULAR. Then you will find the web page: https://uprm.myuniversityapp.net/apply/authentication.do?cmd=login-check. Now you sign up for login.
After sign up, you can get the application form in English.
* Essay * Letters of Recommendation
2) Send by mail the above documents and the following academic documents:
* Transcripts (in your native language and include an English version)* * Certificate of Graduation or Diploma
Notes:*The University of PR requires that foreign students from non-Spanish or English speaking countries, have to submit their transcripts in their native language and also include a transcript of your grades in English.
English transcripts can be issued or certified by your university; please verify. If the university does not offer this service, you can go to the US Embassy in your country they should be able to certify your English transcripts.
